With all the rain that we’ve been having lately, I didn’t think that there were going to be any bright spots in my weekend. Until I met V. She’s one of the sweetest girls. And it turns out that we have a mutual friend. What a small world!

V and her boyfriend just celebrated their anniversary so she wanted to spice things up with a boudior shoot. She was the perfect client. Willing to try anything and she looked great doing it. Plus, she’s got great style. I love the way her house was decorated and she had some killer shoes.

As always, Lauren from Expert Makeup Artistry, did her thang. Subtle makeup, tousled hair – it was perfect.

I’ve been photographing children and families for almost two years now, but this is something I’ve always wanted to try. When the fabulous Lauren contacted me to see if I would be interested in offering these sessions, I just couldn’t say no. I think it’s a wonderful way for women to feel sexy and confident in their own skin. Doing a boudoir shoot doesn’t mean you’ll be laying around in a bra and panties.
