Lauren and I had so much fun this weekend at another Bella Donna party. All of the ladies were so beautiful! I’m always amazed that even the prettiest of girls are nervous and self conscious when it comes to having their picture taken. Hopefully they don’t feel that way after seeing these. Thanks girls!

It’s been a busy summer doing family and newborn sessions so it was a nice break to photograph a beautiful lady today.

What was so great is that she did it for all the right reasons. For herself. She’s a mom and a wife and sometimes you kind of lose yourself being everything to everyone else. You rarely take time for yourself. I’m so glad she gets what Lauren and I are trying to do with these Bella Donna sessions. Don’t worry about lose last few pounds you have to lose, don’t worry about what your friends will think, just do it! You will be happy you did.

Celebrating a Milestone

The first year of marriage is probably one of the hardest. Taking two lives and melding them together can take a lot of patience and practice. That’s why making it to your first wedding anniversary is something to celebrate. Miss K had a fantastic idea to surprise her hubby with a Bella Donna session. She’s a gorgeous girl. And I didn’t notice it until I began going through the images, but she looks just like Sandra Bullock. Amazing!

Thanks for a great time today K. It was wonderful to meet you. Your hubby is a lucky man. Can’t wait to show you the rest!

Bella Donna parties are all the rage lately. We just booked 4 more and we’ve got a ton of girls who are interested. Since Lauren and I are both busy ladies, we’ve decided to host a Spring Fling. Mark your calendars bellas!

Each guest will be treated to a glamorous makeover, a 30 minute photo shoot, (1) 8×10, and 5 images on a CD. The cost is $150 per guest. You can also add hair for an additional $35. The photo sessions are super fun. Don’t feel like you have to be photographed in your undies either. Throw on your favorite dress and some killer heels, dress up in your husband’s favorite football jersey, wear a plain white t-shirt ~ whatever makes you comfortable. We’ll have music playing, mimosas flowing, and lots of laughs. When was the last time you did something for yourself anyway? Tell your friends, tell your sister, tell your mom.

Be My Valentine

What a great group of ladies today! We spent the day chatting, drinking mimosas and getting all gussied up for Valentine’s Day. Another round of Bella Donna beauties. Thanks for a fun day gals and Lauren, amazing work as always. You rock!

I like to let the girls see a few images straight out of the camera so they know how the session is going and so that they can see how amazing they look. Well, when Nicole peaked at a few she was like, “Is that me?” Yes, my dear. You are stunning!!

I know I am not the only one who thinks this next hot mama looks just like Anne Hathaway. Gorgeous!

Monica was so much fun to work with because she had a lot of great ideas for poses. I love when clients come in with an idea.

It’s been a while since I posted here. Lauren and I have sort of redesigned the boudoir concept to include all women. We call it Bella Donna. It means “beautiful woman” in Italian.

You don’t have to be a size 1 and you don’t have to be in a bra and panties. Instead, these sessions are all about making you feel special. Allowing you to see yourself as the beautiful woman you are. The best part is that we offer parties too. It’s the perfect get-together for a bunch of girlfriends or even a bachelorette party. We had our first Bella Donna party of the new year this past weekend and it was HUGE success!

Miss L was the host and she invited 8 of her closest friends over for a girls only party. Everyone felt a little nervous at first but that’s what is so great about having a party ~ you are surrounded by people you know and trust. All the girls were there to cheer each other on.

With all the rain that we’ve been having lately, I didn’t think that there were going to be any bright spots in my weekend. Until I met V. She’s one of the sweetest girls. And it turns out that we have a mutual friend. What a small world!

V and her boyfriend just celebrated their anniversary so she wanted to spice things up with a boudior shoot. She was the perfect client. Willing to try anything and she looked great doing it. Plus, she’s got great style. I love the way her house was decorated and she had some killer shoes.

As always, Lauren from Expert Makeup Artistry, did her thang. Subtle makeup, tousled hair – it was perfect.

V, thank you so much for hanging out with us. I hope your man loves the pictures. You are gorgeous!!
